The Green Dot in Europe
The German-Swedish Chamber of Commerce represents The Green Dot and cooperates with the national recycling organizations in a total of 33 European countries.
Not all packaging logotypes are environmental brands and some only shows that a company has joined the national recycling organization behind the brand and serves as a proof that the license fees for the packaging waste have been paid. The most famous and widely used logotype within Europe is The Green Dot (“Der Grüne Punkt”). More than 500 billion European packages are marked with the logotype.
Below you can find a list of the recycling organizations for packaging that license The Green Dot in the respective country.
