Webinar: The Material Sector's first Steps towards a Circular Economy

The EU growth strategy and recovery plan help to steer the economy and environment towards climate neutrality and a more sustainable future. It also means opportunities for companies. But what are the obstacles? We invite you to this discussion on how the material sector can increase its circular material flows and what the Swedish Roadmap presented during the autumn means.

What is needed to implement the European Green Deal in Sweden and what are the planned investments within the material sector? What international business examples can we learn from? Together with Sweden's Minister for Business, Industry and Innovation Ibrahim Baylan we will discuss Sweden's strategy towards a circular economy. We will also get some inspiring business examples from the German company BASF being one of the first global companies to present its roadmap and Norwegian Quantafuel who is revolutioning the handling of plastic waste.

Speakers:
Ibrahim Baylan, Sweden's Minister for Business, Industry and Innovation
Katja Scharpwinkel, President Region Europe, Middle East & Africa BASF
