Advokatfirman Engström & Co concentrates on national and international company, business and tax law.

In the field of business law we possess wide experience of contractual law, company law and marketing law. We advise and assist in drafting all forms of agreements, including those concerning mergers and acquisitions inside and outside Sweden. We also participate in negotiations and draft agency- and distributorship agreements, which may give rise to antitrust matters and different questions related to European law. In the area of company law the firm assists in establishing companies in Sweden and abroad as well as in partnership agreements, mergers and acquisitions. We participate in Directors´ and shareholders meetings and give assistance in various company matters. In the field of tax law we have extensive experience in establishing companies abroad, including company formation, organizing intragroup relationships and establishing branch offices and subsidiary companies. Furthermore we provide immigration and emigration tax advice to our clients to avoid tax problems both in Sweden and abroad. We help family businesses with the transfer of control to the next generation.

The office includes at present four lawyers, amongst them one German-Swedish Lawyer (Rechtsanwältin and Advokat), who focuses on German-Swedish clients and matters. We work in close cooperation with our German and Nordic colleagues from the Nordic Lawyers EEIG and from the EULEX International Practice Group as well as our own network of contacts within Germany. Through the Nordic Lawyers, we have a representative office in Berlin.

Our clients include large and small Swedish and foreign companies in various areas of business. A substantial part of our practice concerns foreign clients with branches or other activities in Sweden or Swedish clients with activities abroad.
