Food labelling

We support you with food labelling, both in Sweden and throughout Europe.

The most important rule for food labelling within the EU is that the information never should mislead the consumer in any way. Consumers must be able to understand what they are eating. Clear statutory rules about general labelling or allergy labelling help consumers to get the information they need, but even voluntary labelling through specific symbols give orientation.

Producers are obliged to give certain information on the label in a readable way, including the ingredients and the use-by date. We are happy to advice you regarding the regulations for food labelling in Sweden and Europe and to assist you with translations into the respective local language. We cooperate with several European institutions that have many years of experience in this field.
